Arrest made in May 19 Pulaski Highway attempted murder

(May 22, 2025) On Tuesday, the Baltimore Police Department announced the arrest of 57-year-old Danny Sturdivant of Baltimore, who was taken into custody in connection with a shooting that took place in the City’s Southeast District on May 19. Patrol officers arrested Sturdivant on the scene of the shooting that went down in the 3600 block of Pulaski Highway, moments after the incident. During the arrest, Investigators also recovered and seized a firearm.
Background: On May 19, 2025, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Pulaski Highway in reference to a report of a shooting. Officers arrived at the location and observed a 43-year-old male with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment in serious condition.
Sturdivant, who was considered a person of interest in the shooting, was taken into custody at that time. Sturdivant was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was later charged with attempted first and second-degree murder and several handgun violations.
