Arrest made in October 23 Baltimore City homicide

(October 27, 2025, 12:00 pm) Just moments ago, the Baltimore Police Department announced that an arrest has been made in a homicide that went down last week. According to police, on October 23 at approximately 10:26 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 4100 block of Hyden Court for a report of a shooting.
Once on the scene, officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police identified the victim as 42-year-old Eugene Henry.  Medics responded to the scene and transported Henry to an area hospital, where he later died from his wounds.
Today, police reported that they arrested 48-year-old Gerard Morris in connection to that shooting, adding that Morris was taken into custody on October 23, shortly after the shooting occurred. Morris was transported to the Central Booking Intake Center, where he was charged with first-degree murder and handgun violations.
