On August 22, police in Bradenton, Florida, issued another plea asking for the public’s assistance in providing any information that will help bring Caitlyn Sandt home. According to law enforcement officials, Caitlyn last contacted her family in late October 2024 and was officially reported as missing in November.

Caitlyn has been missing now for 10 months.

Caitlyn’s family is now offering a $5,000 reward for her safe return. Caitlyn, now 19, is 5’5″, approximately 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a scar between her eyes, a strawberry birthmark on the bottom of her neck, and scars on both thighs.

This spring, ABC-7 News reported her mother as saying that when Caitlyn turned 18 last year, she started coming home less, and hanging around the wrong crowd, spending a lot of her time on 18th Street in Bradenton. She also fell into addiction.  Her mom also said that no matter what, she would always hear from her daughter every week.

Caitlyn’s mother also said she was especially fearful because of the people she learned that her daughter was hanging out with.

“What I do know is that there are three people incarcerated that know, they were in Katie’s circle: one is a violent offender, one is a sex offender, and one is a drug addict,” said the mom.

Caitlyn’s family also started a GoFundMe page to help with the search for the missing teen.
