(December 14, 2025) House Democrats on Friday disclosed a new batch of photographs from the estate of convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, sharply intensifying public scrutiny of the late financier’s network and amplifying political tensions in Congress.

The latest disclosures, made by members of the House Oversight Committee, include dozens of images drawn from more than 95,000 photos recently provided to lawmakers. Among the pictures released are undated, redacted snapshots showing President Donald Trump with groups of unidentified women, as well as earlier-reported photographs of former President Bill Clinton, former British royal Prince Andrew, and other high-profile figures.

The photos include images of other prominent figures like former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, billionaire Bill Gates, filmmaker Woody Allen and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. The photos do not implicate any of those pictured in Epstein’s crimes. ~ CBS News

Lawmakers said these selections represent just a fraction of the extensive material they are reviewing, with more releases expected in the coming days. Many of the images released on Friday lacked captions or contextual information, leaving interpretation of the scenes to investigative and public debate.

“It is time to end the White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” said Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the committee’s ranking Democrat, in a statement accompanying the release. Democrats emphasized that faces of women in the images had been redacted to protect privacy and that they are moving carefully amid growing pressure to disclose documents relating to Epstein’s criminal network.

The releases come ahead of a December 19 deadline for the Justice Department to make public more complete case files following bipartisan legislation signed by President Trump.

The White House responded by dismissing the photo drops as politically motivated. A spokesperson accused Democrats of sharing “cherry-picked” images to craft a one-sided narrative and defended the administration’s handling of the Epstein files.

Republicans on the Oversight Committee also criticized the Democrats’ approach, asserting that the released photos do not show illegal activity by the individuals pictured and arguing that the selective disclosure could mislead the public.

Advocates for survivors of Epstein’s trafficking network welcomed the transparency but noted that the absence of context or accompanying testimony leaves many questions unanswered about the nature of relationships and interactions documented in the photos.

As House Democrats continue their review, the unfolding disclosures are likely to shape political and legal discussions in the final days before the full Justice Department files are released — and to influence ongoing public debates about elite networks and accountability in the Epstein saga.
