Dr. Mary L. Trump: ‘That’s definitely his signature’

On September 8, 2025, a Congressional House Oversight Committee released a controversial document from Jeffrey Epstein’s 2003 “Birthday Book,” which included a drawing and note allegedly drawn and signed by Donald Trump. The drawing features a hand-drawn outline of a naked woman, with Trump’s first name, “Donald,” signed in the pubic area. The President vehemently denies drawing and signing the image.

Dr. Mary L. Trump, the President’s neice, seems to believe that the signature at the bottom of the image does indeed belong to her infamous Uncle Donald,

The birthday note, allegedly written by Trump to Epstein, depicts a fictional conversation between the two friends:
“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything.”
“Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.”
“Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.”
“Donald: We have certain things in common Jeffrey.”
“Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.”
“Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?”
“Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.”
“Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

According to NBC News, Trump contends that is not his drawing or accompanying text and has denied any involvement or knowledge of the doodle, stating, “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.” Trump is also on record as saying he did not sign the doodle – although the signature at the bottom of the image does appear to slightly resemble his well-documented signature,
Trump later clarified that while he occasionally sketches buildings for charity, he does not draw women. After releasing the Epstein Birthday Book, the House Committee did not specifically accuse Trump of wrongdoing. Chairman James Comer criticized Democrats for “cherry-picking documents” and politicizing the release.
The Wall Street Journal was the first media outlet to report on the existence of the drawing. The paper stands by its reporting. Trump’s legal team continues to pursue a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal for reporting on the note.
Following the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s 2003 “Birthday Book” by the House Oversight Committee, from political figures and media outlets have been swift and polarized.
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) broke ranks with many Republicans, stating:
“I’m not afraid to say the names. Jeffrey Epstein’s cabal of politicians, bureaucrats, and elites who turned a blind eye must be held accountable. This is the product of past administrations, Republican and Democrat, trying to silence victims. They deserve justice. And America deserves the TRUTH.”
Greene also offered to read the names of alleged abusers on the House floor, invoking congressional immunity under the “speech and debate” clause, according to MSNBC.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) called the drawing a “distraction,” emphasizing that it doesn’t implicate Trump and that the real concern lies with billionaire donors across both parties, according to NBC News.
