Hunter Park sexual assault suspect identified, arrested, charged with rape

On September 16, Oklahoma’s Tulsa Police Special Victims Unit (SVU) arrested 42-year-old Brent Allen Reamy in connection with the sexual assault at Hunter Park in August. On August 21st, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Tulsa Police Officers responded to a report of an Assault at Hunter Park, located near 5800 E. 91st St.
According to the victim, a white male in his 40s or 50s approached her while she was walking in a wooded area of the park. The suspect physically attacked the victim and assaulted her sexually. In the course of the attack, the victim sustained injuries.
Two people at the park found the victim after the attack and called 911.
Shortly after the assault, an Officer came into contact with Brent Reamy in a parking lot near 91st and Yale. Reamy began asking the Officer questions about police response in the area, and he displayed unusual behavior.
At the time of the interaction between the Officer and Reamy, there was not enough of a description of the sexual assault suspect to believe he Reamy was the culprit. Without any evidence linking him to criminal activity, the Officer documented the interaction, and that documentation proved vital later in the investigation.
Over the course of several weeks, SVU Detectives collected evidence from multiple sources that placed Reamy inside Hunter Park at the time of the assault. The victim further identified Reamy as the suspect in a photo lineup.
On September 16th, 2025, the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office charged Brent Reamy with one count of Rape by Instrumentation. He was arrested shortly after, questioned, and booked into the Tulsa County Jail by the Tulsa PD’s Fugitive Warrants Unit.
Another sexual assault that occurred at Turkey Mountain on August 19th, 2025, remains under investigation at this time. SVU Detectives are actively investigating any possible connection between the two assaults.
If you have any information related to the Turkey Mountain case, please call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. You can remain anonymous when calling. Please reference case 2025-042322.
