Makenzie Kepka: 16-year-old girl reported missing from Lake County

(August 20, 2025) Yesterday, Florida’s Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) announced that a 16-year-old girl has been reported missing from their jurisdiction and is seeking the public’s assistance in finding her.  The missing teen was identified as Makenzie Kepka, who was last seen on August 17 on Grace Ave in Deland.

Makenzie is known to frequent the cities of Deland and Paisley.

Officials’ physical description for Makenzie is as follows: 

  • 16-year-old white female with dark brown hair in long braids.
  • She is 5’5″ and 135 pounds with blue eyes.
  • Makenzie was last seen wearing a dark tank-top and leopard print shorts.
