A late-night shooting in Odenton has left a Baltimore man dead and Anne Arundel County police (AACOPD) searching for whoever pulled the trigger.

AACOPD officers were called to the 1600 block of Annapolis Road shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighters and paramedics on the scene attempted lifesaving measures before transporting the victim to Baltimore Washington Medical Center. The gunshot victim was later pronounced dead. Authorities identified him as Timothy Leslie Randolph, 45, of Baltimore.

Detectives from the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Homicide Unit have taken over the case and are working to determine what led up to the fatal shooting and who was responsible. No suspects have been announced, and no motive has yet been released.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen or heard something in the area around the time of the shooting to come forward.
