Philly Police seek the public’s help in identifying woman struck by a car on N. Broad Street

(May 28, 2025) Yesterday, police in Philadelphia asked for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman injured in a car accident.Â
Background: On Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 1:15 a.m., Philadelphia Police Officers from the 35th District responded to an auto-pedestrian crash on the 4800 block of North Broad Street. A 2007 Cadillac was traveling northbound on Broad Street, when a pedestrian standing the middle of street with dark clothing stepped in front of the Cadillac causing the accident, according to police. The scene was secured by officers on the scene.
PFD-Medic transported the injured woman to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was placed in critical condition. The driver remained on the scene and was able to speak with authorities.
Police say the woman is approximately 40-50 years old.
