On the morning of June 30, law enforcement officials in Palm Beach County posted a notice seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a violent armed carjacking and kidnapping.

The incident took place on June 14, 2025, around 7:58 a.m. in the parking lot of Russo’s Restaurant, located at 1477 South Military Trail in West Palm Beach. Surveillance images from the scene show the individual believed to be involved, according to The Boca Raton Tribune.

Officials described the suspect as as a Black male, approximately 25 years old, 5’8” to 5’9” tall, dark complexion, and a deep voice. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue Nike hoodie, sweatpants, and a light blue surgical-style COVID mask.

“We believe someone in the community knows this individual,” said a PBSO spokesperson. “Even the smallest detail could help lead to an arrest.” ~ Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
