Road rage karma

(July 1, 2025) Direct from Ace News Today’s “karma” files, South Florida’s Port St. Lucie Police Department shared a story yesterday that just goes to show that losing your temper behind the wheel may not always be good news for the vehicle you’re driving. This past Friday night, Joshua Austin was arrested after a road rage incident on Crosstown Parkway resulted in him sideswiping another vehicle – with that crash damaging his car.
The female victim that Austin allegedly sideswiped reported to police that she was traveling westbound when Austin appeared frustrated by her driving at the speed limit and accelerated to drive around her. As the victim attempted to stay away from Austin’s vehicle and continue to her destination, Austin reportedly made his way back near her vehicle in efforts to brake check her multiple times.
Not only that, but he also threw three aluminum cans at her vehicle.
After Austin’s last attempt at trying to intimidate the woman by not allowing her to change lanes or move away from him, he accidentally sideswiped her vehicle.
Austin was arrested. and was charged with:
- (1) count of Reckless Driving
- (1) Criminal Mischief/Property Damage over $200
And – his vehicle was towed.
