(December 9, 2025) On Monday, Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Towson Precinct announced the arrest of 19-year-old Cameron Keelan, charging him in an attempted kidnapping that rattled a Parkville community last week.

According to investigators, officers were called to the 8300 block of Edgedale Road on December 4 after residents reported a suspicious man approaching neighborhood children. Police say Keelan allegedly attempted to persuade three young children to walk away with him, prompting an immediate response from patrol units.

Detectives later identified Keelan as the suspect and took him into custody. He is now being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, facing charges of attempted kidnapping.

Police are urging anyone who may have had contact with Keelan or has information relevant to the investigation to call 410-887-2361.
