Towson: Two arrested for 2024 murder of 19-year-old Andrew Blessing

On June 6, Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department announced the arrests of 27-year-old Anthony Jackson and 23-year-old Daiquon Ferguson for the homicide of 19-year-old Andrew Blessing. According to police, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on December 9, 2024, officers responded to the 900 block of Beaverbank Circle in Towson following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located Blessing who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Blessing was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.

In addition to murder, Ferguson faces charges of attempted murder in a totally separate incident regarding a shooting that occurred at around 10:40 p.m. on May 29, 2025, in the 1800 block of East Joppa Road in Parkville.

Jackson and Ferguson both remain held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
