On July 16, Local 12 WKRC reported on a mother of seven children out of Indianapolis who was arrested after allegedly offering up her seven-month-old daughter to a guy on Snapchat – saying that he could sexually assault the infant for only $400.  According to a probable cause affidavit obtained and shared by People, 32-year-old Morgan Stapp sent a Snapchat message to an unidentified man on November 1, 2024, that offered the sexual assault of her daughter for $400.  Stapp sent photos of her infant child through Snapchat with a text saying the man could have sex with the child for that modest sum.

“Half now rest after I’ll send my address I do live alone, and her dad is not in the picture,” the message reportedly said.

Authorities were notified by Snapchat itself after the company flagged the message as possibly illegal, and FBI agents contacted Stapp at her home just 10 days after the message was sent.  ~ WKRC

Project Rescue Children reported that Stapp’s arrest came after a months-long investigation by the FBI after they received a report from Snapchat that included the messages sent by user “morgan-stapp.” “U can **** her for 400$,” one message read. “

When Stapp was interviewed by the FBI on November 11, 2024, she reportedly claimed that her Snapchat had been “hacked” and that she no longer had access to her “morgan-stapp” account.  Stapp explained that she had received an email saying her account was permanently banned due to “online commercial s*x transactions.”

Later that same month, Stapp reportedly admitted to lying to the FBI about being banned from her account. The FBI requested help from the Indianapolis metro police, who obtained a search warrant of Stapp’s Snapchat account, leading them to thousands of messages over the course of three days in November.

There were 81 messages that asked the question: “Would you be interested in buying my nudes so I can get baby diapers?” The messages, all of which were sent after Stapp claimed she no longer had access to the app, were sent from an IP address in an area near her home address, police said.

Following her arrest, Stapp was booked into the Marion County Jail with her bond set at $200,000.  She was charged with attempting to commit child sex trafficking.
