On Wednesday, July 23, Maryland’s Aberdeen Police Department alerted the public regarding a child that has gone missing from her Harford County home. Police say that 14-year-old Scarlett Hickey left her home in Aberdeen on July 5, 2025, and that her last known location was in Dundalk – and that she may still be in the Baltimore County, Dundalk area.

Social media comments from several people saying that they know Scarlett say that she ran away from home about this time last year and most likely ran off again.  Still, a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for almost three weeks should be a concern for the entire community.

If you have any information regarding Scarlett’s current whereabouts, you are asked to please call the Aberdeen Police Department at (410) 272-2121 or send them a message with any pertinent information.

Police say that all tips will remain confidential.
