Mike Wolfe of ‘American Pickers’ and girlfriend hospitalized following brutal car wreck

Mike Wolfe, star of TV’s “American Pickers,” was hospitalized along with his girlfriend following a serious car accident on Friday, September 12, in Columbia, Tennessee. Wolfe, 61, was driving his vintage blue Chevy Impala when the crash occurred, leaving the vehicle severely mangled. His girlfriend, Leticia Cline, was also in the car and sustained multiple injuries, according to Fox News.
Cline, a former model and reality TV personality, began her career in magazines like Maxim and Playboy. Soap Central reports that she later earned degrees in psychology and finance from the University of Kentucky and worked as a CPA. Cline co-founded Standard Motorcycle Co. and became the first female Harley Hooligan Flattrack racer to compete in the ESPN X Games
Following the crash, Wolfe shared on Instagram that both he and Cline were receiving excellent care. While Wolfe’s injuries were not detailed, Cline suffered a broken jaw (in multiple places), broken ribs, a fractured sternum, a collapsed lung, and spinal swelling. Her jaw reportedly struck the shattered windshield during the collision. According to USA Today, she remains hospitalized but is expected to make a full recovery.
Wolfe starred on the History Channell’s TV show “American Pickers” which premiered on January 18, 2010, and has aired continuously through July 2, 2025, spanning 23 seasons and over 406 episodes. His high school buddy, Frank Fritz, co-starred most of the years the show was on the air, until 2022 when he left the show following a public falling out with Mike. Together, the two antique hunters travelled the U.S. searching for antique treasures and collectibles.
Earlier this year, Wolfe closed his Nashville storefront, Antique Archaeology, after 15 years in business.
Wolfe’s decision to shutter his Nashville store comes after the death of his late “America Pickers” co-star and dear friend Frank Fritz.
The “American Pickers” dynamic duo had a special friendship and starred on the hit show together for over a decade. In September 2024, Fritz died of complications from a stroke while in hospice care. ~ Fox News
