Baltimore Co. man charged with attempted rape, carjacking, kidnapping — police seek more victims
On October 5, 2025, Baltimore County Police Department officers arrested 24-year-old Micah Narteh on an initial charge of disorderly conduct. Narteh was charged after it was reported that he approached women on two separate occasions outside businesses located in the Cockeysville area, instructing them to read a notebook that contained written threats soliciting sex.
Earlier today (October 7) the department filed additional charges against Narteh, charges that include:
- attempted kidnapping,
- attempted carjacking,
- attempted armed carjacking, and
- attempted first-degree rape.
Narteh remains held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. A bail review hearing is scheduled for later today, Tuesday, October 7.
Fox 45 News in Baltimore reported that although the written threats in his notebook indicated that Narteh was armed, no weapon was found on his person at the time of his arrest. Officials are urging anyone who may have encountered Narteh to please contact the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-1823.
