Arrest made in October 31 Maisel Court homicide

On November 3, police in Baltimore City announced the arrest of 20-year-old Nasaiah Bryan in connection to a homicide that went down in the 2500 block of Maisel Court on October 31.  The victim in that fatal shooting has been identified as 31-year-old Oshay Khalil Smith.

Following that deadly Halloween shooting, Bryan turned himself in to detectives at Baltimore Police Headquarters on October 31, where he was charged with first-degree murder.

Background:  On October 1, 2025, at approximately 1:11 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Maisel Court to investigate a reported shooting.  Upon their arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim, Oshay Khalil Smith, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Smith was transported to the area hospital and pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
