(November 12, 2025)  In a dramatic development following never before publicly-seen emails from the estate of the late convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein that were released earlier today by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, there’s now a renewed examination of Epstein’s past ties to Donald Trump when the two men were considered to be the best of friends. The emails are deepening public and political scrutiny over Trump’s past relationship with Epstein and raise fresh questions about what he may have known — and when, according to an article in Politico that states, “Jeffrey Epstein, in newly released email, says Trump ‘knew about the girls.”

Some of the e-mails released today by the House Oversight Committee shared the following:

  • One email, dated April 2, 2011, from Epstein to his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, states that “that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump” and alleges that a victim “spent hours at my house with him … he has never once been mentioned.” The victim’s name is redacted.
  • A second email from January 31, 2019, addressed to author Michael Wolff, quoted Epstein writing: “of course he [Trump] knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
  • A third from December 2015 discussed public relations messaging surrounding Trump’s relationship with Epstein, including crafting responses if questioned about being on a plane or at the house.

Ace News Today notes that the newly released emails (see below) based upon their own merits do not seem to present any direct evidence that Trump physically participated in Epstein’s trafficking network.   The emails do seem to suggest though, that Epstein believed Trump had awareness of or proximity to Epstein’s misconduct — and that Trump had not publicly addressed it, according to Politico.

In a released statement, the House Oversight Committee shared that the Epstein Estate released a total of 23,000 documents that the committee is currently reviewing.

The three emails referenced above can be found below and here.

The correspondence in the above email reads:

To: Jeffrey Epstein
From: Michael Wolff

“I hear CNN planning to ask Trump tonight about his relationship with you–either on air or in scrum afterwards.

To: Michael Wolff
From: Jeffrey Epstein

“if we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?”

To: Jeffrey Epstein
From: Michael Wolff

“I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt. Of course, it is possible that, when asked, he’ll say Jeffrey is a great guy and has gotten a raw deal and is a victim of political correctness, which is to be outlawed in a Trump regime.”

Trump has always denied any wrongdoing or having any knowledge of Epstein’s sex-trafficking operations.  He also claims that although they were once friendly, their social relationship ended decades ago.  The recent disclosures have sparked calls from Democrats for the full release of all Epstein-related records — including those held by the U.S. Department of Justice, according to The Washington Post.

“The more Donald Trump tries to cover up the Epstein files, the more we uncover. These latest emails and correspondence raise glaring questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the President,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia. “The Department of Justice must fully release the Epstein files to the public immediately. The Oversight Committee will continue pushing for answers and will not stop until we get justice for the victims.”  ~  House Oversight Committee

Thus far, the Department of Justice has only released “a small fraction of the documents and other evidence gathered by federal investigators over the course of multiple investigations into Epstein’s alleged international sex-trafficking operation.,” according to ABC News.
