Baltimore Police, BAMFI, NCMEC, launch search for missing and endangered 11-year-old Elijah White
On Monday of this week, the National Center For Missing and Endangered, Inc. joined with the Baltimore Police Department and WMAR-2 News in Baltimore in seeking the public’s assistance in finding a missing child.
The search is on for 11-year-old Elijah White. Elijah was reported missing from Baltimore City on January 8, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and a pair of gray New Balance sneakers. Elijah is 4’9” tall and weighs 95 pounds.
Elijah is considered an endangered missing child, and his family and authorities are concerned for his well-being. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could be critical in the search.
Note: An endangered missing child is a minor whose disappearance suggests their physical safety is at serious risk, often due to predatory abduction, severe weather, a medical condition, or being an “endangered runaway” in a vulnerable situation, meaning circumstances indicate potential serious physical harm or death, unlike a simple runaway or family abduction. This status triggers specialized alerts due to immediate danger, distinguishing them from less critical missing youth cases.
Today marks the eighth day that this child has been missing. Let’s all try and bring Elijah home. If you have any information regarding Elijah White’s whereabouts, please immediately contact:
- Call 911
- Baltimore Police Department – Missing Persons Unit: (410) 361-9929
- BAMFI (Black and Missing Foundation, Inc.) at 877-97-BAMFI (877-972-2634) or submit a tip via their website at BAMFI.org.
You can also share information anonymously via Metro Crime Stoppers.
