North Naples massage therapist jailed again on sexual battery charge after second client comes forward

Collier County, Fla. (March 2, 2026) — A North Naples massage therapist is back behind bars after authorities say he sexually assaulted a client during a spa appointment — the second such accusation against him in less than a month.

Raoul Atkinson, 38, of Fort Myers, turned himself in Sunday at the Naples Jail Center after the Collier County Sheriff’s Office secured a warrant in connection with a reported November 29 sexual battery at the spa where he worked.

According to investigators, a woman told deputies that Atkinson performed unwanted sexual acts during her massage session. Detectives worked with the State Attorney’s Office to obtain an arrest warrant following the complaint.

During the one-hour massage appointment on November 6, 2025, Atkinson is alleged to have moved his female client’s underwear to the right and began rubbing her vaginal area. The alleged victim told law enforcement she was “shocked”, “frozen”, and unable to speak when this occurred. Following the incident, she reported these events to the Collier County Sheriff’s office.  ~ Horowitz Law

The arrest marks the second time Atkinson has been accused of misconduct involving a client at the same spa. In a separate case reported to the Sheriff’s Office on January 29, another woman alleged that Atkinson performed unwanted sex acts during a November 6 massage appointment. He was arrested February 2 on that charge but later bonded out of jail.

Again, according to Horowitz Law, during a massage session reported on or about January 26, 2023, Atkinson allegedly:

• removed the client’s draping without consent
• rubbed his forearm between the client’s buttocks
• inserted fingers and a thumb into the client’s vagina multiple times
• placed his erect penis on the client’s hand and moved it back and forth
• ejaculated on the client
• attempted to kiss her when the client tried to stand up
• remained in the room while the client dressed

Atkinson has been employed as a massage therapist at Praha Spa and Salt, and, Mobile Magic Massage.

Atkinson now faces one count of sexual battery related to the November 29 incident and one count of battery stemming from the November 6 allegation. He remains in custody at the Collier County jail. Authorities have not released any additional details about the victims but say the investigation remains ongoing.
