Sources cited by TMZ claim the 54-year-old actress was admitted to a Los Angeles-area hospital weeks ago, though the exact reason for her hospitalization remains unclear. Applegate’s representative has not confirmed the reports, stating only, “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are,” while noting her “long history of complicated medical conditions.”
