A 25-year-old New Jersey woman is facing multiple felony charges after authorities allege that she sexually assaulted a young child, recorded the abuse on video – and shared at least one recording on Snapchat.
Victoria Anne Cranmer, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested this week following an investigation by the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. She has been charged with second-degree sexual assault, manufacturing child sexual abuse material, possession of child sexual abuse material and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to investigators, the case began after the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency referred allegations to law enforcement in May. Authorities allege the abuse occurred on May 6 while the child—reported to be younger than 13—was in Cranmer’s care.
Court documents state that investigators recovered a 14-second video allegedly showing the assault inside a bathroom at a Little Egg Harbor residence. Detectives later obtained search warrants for both a cellphone believed to have been used by Cranmer and her Snapchat account, where additional videos were reportedly discovered in the platform’s “Memories” feature.
Investigators said Cranmer was identified in the recordings by several distinctive tattoos, including markings on her leg. Authorities also allege she can be heard laughing during the recorded incident.

According to charging documents, the cellphone had originally been given to Cranmer as a birthday gift by a former roommate. After the two parted ways and Cranmer returned the device, the former roommate allegedly discovered the video while reviewing its contents, preserved the recording and turned the phone over to investigators.
Daily Voice, citing court records, reported the victim was a 2-year-old boy and said the child’s mother became concerned after noticing behavioral changes following visits with Cranmer, who was reportedly dating the child’s father. The complaint alleges the mother later learned of the video after speaking with Cranmer’s former roommate, prompting authorities to launch the criminal investigation.
Officials also allege at least one of the videos was shared on Snapchat.
Cranmer is being held without bail at the Ocean County Jail. The charges remain allegations, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
