The Baltimore Ravens are bolstering their offensive line depth following a key offseason loss, agreeing to a one-year deal with veteran center Danny Pinter, according to multiple reports released on March 18, 2026.

The move comes just days after Baltimore lost Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency, creating an immediate need at one of the offense’s most critical positions.

Pinter’s deal is reportedly worth around $2.25 million, with a maximum value of $2.75 million, signaling a low-risk addition with potential upside.

Pinter, 29, brings six years of NFL experience, all with the Indianapolis Colts, where he appeared in 77 games with 10 starts. While he has primarily served as a backup, he has been valued for his versatility, logging snaps at both center and right guard and even contributing on special teams.

Originally selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Ball State, Pinter’s football journey is notable. A South Bend, Indiana native, he began his college career as a tight end before transitioning to offensive tackle, eventually earning First-Team All-MAC honors and recognition as Ball State’s top player in 2019. Off the field, he also excelled academically, graduating with a 3.718 GPA and earning multiple Academic All-MAC honors.

In recent seasons, Pinter has shown flashes of potential when given opportunities. In 2024, he made spot starts at center and earned strong marks, including an 82.9 Pro Football Focus grade in one standout performance. However, he saw limited action in 2025, playing primarily in a reserve role.

For the Ravens, Pinter is expected to compete for the starting center job alongside internal options such as Corey Bullock and other recent additions. The team may also look to the NFL Draft for a long-term replacement; but for now, Pinter will provide immediate depth and flexibility as Baltimore retools under new offensive line leadership.

While his contract suggests he is not guaranteed a starting role, Pinter’s experience in a traditionally strong Colts offensive line system could make him a valuable contributor—either as a starter or a key rotational piece—on a Ravens team aiming to remain competitive in the AFC.
