Country music singer Bailey Zimmerman is facing a felony criminal damage charge in New Mexico after authorities say he caused more than $16,000 in damage to a hotel room at Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque following the cancellation of a scheduled concert on May 27.

According to court records and an arrest warrant filed June 18, Zimmerman, 26, has been charged with fourth-degree felony criminal damage to property exceeding $1,000 and a misdemeanor count of falsely obtaining services. Investigators allege the damage included a broken television, furniture, walls, and other hotel property, while an unpaid alcohol bill of approximately $400 was also reported.

The allegations stem from events surrounding a canceled performance at the resort. Authorities claim Zimmerman appeared intoxicated during sound check and was involved in disruptive behavior before returning to the hotel. Housekeeping staff later discovered extensive damage inside his room, leading to an investigation and the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Zimmerman has not yet publicly addressed the charges; and representatives for the singer have not commented on the case.

Born in Louisville, Illinois, Bailey Zimmerman rose to prominence after sharing music on social media in 2021. The Warner Music Nashville artist quickly became one of country music’s fastest-rising stars, earning hits such as “Rock and a Hard Place,” “Fall in Love,” and “Where It Ends.” His success led to multiple chart-topping releases, major tours, and recognition as one of the genre’s emerging talents.
